This is good article from a true marketer’s perspective.  The relevance to new media is the blending and convergence that certain retailers are achieving between their online and brick and mortar presence.  Not everyone wants to shop online but there are advantages to the online experience that can be nurtured by the brick and mortar shops.  The idea is that for most shopper you have to blend the experience with the product.
